EN ISO 14931:2004

Leather - Guide to the selection of leather for apparel (excluding furs) (ISO 14931:2004)

ISO 14931:2004 gives recommended values and related test methods for apparel leather, excluding furs. It also specifies the sampling and conditioning procedures to be used for laboratory samples.
It does not apply to leather materials with coating thicknesses exceeding 0,15 mm.

Dieses Dokument liefert Richtwerte und zugehörige Prüfverfahren für Leder für Bekleidung mit Ausnahme von
Pelzen. Diese Norm legt ferner die Verfahren für Probenahme und Angleichen an das Normklima von
Laboratoriumsproben fest.
Dieses Dokument gilt nicht für Lederwerkstoffe mit einer Beschichtungsdicke über 0,15 mm.

Cuirs - Cuirs pour vêtements (à l'exclusion des fourrures) (ISO 14931:2004)

L'ISO 14931:2004 donne des méthodes d'essais et des valeurs recommandées pour les cuirs pour vêtement à l'exclusion des fourrures. L'ISO 14931:2004 spécifie également les modes opératoires d'échantillonnage et de conditionnement des échantillons de laboratoire.
Les cuirs dont l'épaisseur du revêtement de surface est supérieure à 0,15 mm sont exclus du domaine d'application de l'ISO 14931:2004.

This document (EN ISO 14931:2004) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 289 “Leather”, the
secretariat of which is held by UNI, in collaboration with Technical Committee ISO/TC 120 “Leather”.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or
by endorsement, at the latest by June 2005, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by
June 2005.
According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of the following
