This standard specifies the characteristics of rod-ends for flight control rods.
   a single fork;
   a threaded shank comprising;
   a circumferential groove to identify engagement;
   an optional longitudinal groove for locking purpose.
These rod-ends are intended for use with control rods or rods for aircraft structures.

   mit einer Ringnut zur Kontrolle der Einschraubtiefe versehen ist;
   eine Längsnut zur Sicherung aufweisen kann.
Diese Gabelköpfe sind für Bediengestänge von Flugsteuerungen oder Strukturstangen von Luftfahrzeugen bestimmt.

AECMA, prior to its presentation to CEN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by December 2006, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn
