Wallcoverings in roll form - Specification for wallcoverings for subsequent decoration

This document:
-   specifies requirements for dimensions and marking;
-   gives the symbols to be used for marking purposes, for matching, methods of application and removal.
The marking requirements of this document are primarily for information for the consumer and to еnаblе optimum use to be made of the product.
This document applies to wallcoverings for subsequent decoration supplied in rolls for hanging on to walls and ceilings by means of an adhesive, covering the whole of the interface between the wallcovering and the support.
Excluded from this document are rigid materials, materials not attached or not wholly attached by adhesive, finished wallpapers, wall vinyls, plastics wallcoverings, textile wallcoverings, heavy duty wallcoverings and non-decorative wallcoverings such as wall linings or those with special properties, e.g. thermal or acoustic insulation.

Die in diesem Dokument festgelegten Kennzeichnungen dienen in erster Linie der Verbraucherinformation und sollen die bestmögliche Anwendung des Produktes sicherstellen.
Dieses Dokument gilt für Wandbekleidungen in Rollen für nachträgliche Behandlung, die an Wänden und Decken mittels eines Klebstoffes aufgebracht werden, der die Fläche zwischen Wandbekleidung und Untergrund vollständig bedeckt.
Nicht Gegenstand dieses Dokuments sind starre Stoffe, Stoffe, die nicht oder nicht vollständig angeklebt werden, fertige Papier-, Vinyl  und Kunststoffwandbekleidungen, Textilwandbekleidungen, Wand-bekleidungen für hohe Beanspruchungen und Wandbekleidungen, die keine dekorative Funktion haben, z. B. Unterlagsstoffe, sowie Wandbekleidungen mit besonderen Eigenschaften, z. B. zur Wärme  oder Schalldämmung.

Le présent document :
-   spécifie les exigences relatives aux dimensions et au marquage ;
-   indique les symboles à utiliser pour le marquage, les raccords, les méthodes d’application de l’adhésif et de dépose.
Les exigences de marquage du présent document visent principalement à informer le consommateur et à permettre un usage optimal du produit.
Le présent document s’applique aux revêtements muraux pour décoration ultérieure vendus en rouleaux pour être posés sur les murs et les plafonds à l’aide d’un adhésif couvrant la totalité de l’interface entre le revêtement mural et le subjectile.
Sont exclus du présent document, les matériaux rigides, les matériaux qui ne se fixent pas à l’aide d’adhésif, ou pas sur toute leur surface, les papiers peints finis, les revêtements muraux vinyles, les revêtements muraux en plastique, les revêtements muraux en textiles, les revêtements muraux à usage intense et les revêtements muraux non décoratifs tels que les revêtements d’apprêt, ou ceux qui ont des propriétés particulières, telles que l’isolation acoustique ou thermique.

Ta evropski standard:
– določa zahteve za dimenzije in označevanje;
– podaja simbole, ki jih treba uporabiti za označevanje, ujemanje, metode nanašanja in odstranjevanja.
Zahteve za označevanje tega standarda služijo predvsem kot informacija za potrošnike omogočajo optimalno uporabo izdelka. Ta standard se uporablja za stenske obloge v zvitkih, ki so namenjene nadaljnjemu okraševanju in se uporabljajo za nanašanje na notranje stene in strop s pomočjo lepila, s katerim se prekrije celotno območje med stensko oblogo in podporno površino. Iz tega standarda so izključeni togi materiali, ki delno ali v celoti niso pritrjeni z lepilom, tapete in stenske obloge iz vinila ter umetne mase, stenske obloge iz blaga, stenske obloge za težke obremenitve in stenske obloge, ki niso namenjene okraševanju ali ki imajo posebne lastnosti, npr. toplotna ali zvočna izolacija.

Introduction
Wallcoverings for subsequent decoration are those wallcoverings intended for decoration after hanging,
for example, by the application of paint. They are normally relief or ingrain wallcoverings. These
wallcoverings do not, in general, have as good washability and colour fastness to light before their
subsequent decoration as have finished wallcoverings which are not intended to be decorated after
hanging.
