This document specifies a test method for the resistance to bending of a test piece, made of a valve assembled together with two pipes and placed between supports, when subjected to internal pressure.
This document is applicable to valves with a polyethylene (PE) body for use with pipes having a nominal outside diameter from greater than 63 mm up to and including 400 mm and intended for the transport of fluids.
When specified in the product standard, this document can be applied to valves of material different than PE.

Dieses Dokument legt ein Prüfverfahren für die Biegefestigkeit eines Prüfkörpers fest, der aus einer mit zwei Rohren zusammengebauten Armatur besteht und zwischen Auflagern angeordnet ist, wenn er einem Innendruck ausgesetzt wird.
Dieses Dokument gilt für Armaturen mit einem Gehäuse aus Polyethylen (PE) für den Einsatz mit Rohren mit einem Nenn-Außendurchmesser größer als 63 mm bis einschließlich 400 mm, die für den Transport von Flüssigkeiten vorgesehen sind.

Le présent document spécifie une méthode d'essai relative à la résistance à la flexion d’une éprouvette, constituée d’un robinet assemblé à deux tubes et placée entre des supports, lorsqu’elle est soumise à une pression interne.
Le présent document s'applique aux robinets avec un corps en polyéthylène (PE), utilisés avec des tubes présentant un diamètre extérieur nominal supérieur à 63 mm et inférieur ou égal à 400 mm, destinés au transport de fluides.
Lorsque cela est spécifié dans la norme de produit, le présent document peut être appliqué aux robinets en matériau autre que le PE.

of a valve made from polyethylene (PE) and which is intended to be used in pipelines for the transport of

1 Scope
This document specifies a test method for the resistance to bending of a test piece, made of a valve
assembled together with two pipes and placed between supports, when subjected to internal pressure.
This document is applicable to valves with a polyethylene (PE) body for use with pipes having a nominal
outside diameter from greater than 63 mm up to and including 400 mm and intended for the transport
of fluids.
