Gas cylinders - Gases and gas mixtures - Determination of corrosiveness for the selection of cylinder valve outlet (ISO 13338:2022)

This document specifies the following, in order to determine the corrosiveness of gases and gas mixtures so that a suitable outlet connection can be assigned to each of them:
—    for pure gases and some liquids, a complete list indicating their corrosiveness;
—    for gas mixtures, a calculation method, in the absence of experimental data, relating to the corrosiveness of each of their components.

Dieses Dokument legt Folgendes fest, um die Ätzwirkung von Gasen und Gasgemischen zu bestimmen, sodass jedem von ihnen ein geeigneter Ausgangsanschluss zugeordnet werden kann:
   für reine Gase und einige Flüssigkeiten eine vollständige Liste mit Angabe ihrer Ätzwirkung;
   für Gasgemische ein Berechnungsverfahren ohne experimentelle Daten, das sich auf die Ätzwirkung jeder ihrer Komponenten bezieht.

Le présent document spécifie les éléments suivants afin de déterminer la corrosivité des gaz et des mélanges de gaz de manière à pouvoir attribuer à chacun d'eux un raccord de sortie approprié:
—    pour les gaz purs et certains liquides, une liste complète indiquant leur corrosivité;
—    pour les mélanges de gaz, une méthode de calcul, en l’absence de données expérimentales, qui prend en compte la corrosivité de chacun de leurs composants.

Za namene določanja korozivnosti plinov in njihovih zmesi, na podlagi česar je mogoča dodelitev ustreznega izhodnega priključka, ta dokument določa: – za čiste pline in nekatere tekočine: popoln seznam njihove korozivnosti; – za zmesi plinov: računsko metodo (če ni eksperimentalnih podatkov) v zvezi s korozivnostjo posameznih komponent.

cylinders" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 23 “Transportable gas cylinders” the
secretariat of which is held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by December 2022, and conflicting national standards
shall be withdrawn at the latest by December 2022.
