Electronic fee collection - Evaluation of on-board and roadside equipment for conformity to ISO/TS 12813 - Part 2: Abstract test suite (ISO/TS 13143-2:2011)

ISO/TS 13143-2:2011 specifies the abstract test suite (ATS) to evaluate the conformity of on-board equipment (OBE) and roadside equipment (RSE) to ISO/TS 12813.
It provides a basis for conformance tests for dedicated short range communication (DSRC) equipment (on-board units and roadside equipment) to enable interoperability between equipment supplied by different manufacturers.
In order to ascertain that OBE and RSE fulfil essential radio requirements, they are also likely to be subject to additional factory, site and system acceptance testing (e.g. of physical and environmental endurance, quality assurance and control at manufacturing, and charge point integration), which is outside the scope of ISO/TS 13143-2:2011.

Ta del ISO/TS 13143 določa abstraktni preskušalni niz (ATS) za določanje skladnosti opreme v vozilu (OBE) in obcestni napravi (RSE) z ISO/TS 12813. Zagotavlja podlago za preskuse skladnosti za namensko komunikacijsko opremo kratkega dosega (DSRC) (na krovih ladij in obcestna naprava) za zagotavljanje interoperabilnosti med opremo, ki jo dostavljajo različni proizvajalci. Za namene potrjevanja, da OBE in RSE izpolnjujeta bistvene radijske zahteve, sta lahko predmet dodatnega tovarniškega, lokacijskega in sistemskega preskušanja skladnosti (npr. za fizično ali okoljsko vzdržljivost, zagotavljanje kakovosti, nadzor pri proizvodnji in integracijo plačilne točke), ki je zunaj področja uporabe tega dela ISO/TS 13143.

This Technical Specification (CEN/TS) was approved by CEN on 7 May 2011 for provisional application.

The period of validity of this CEN/TS is limited initially to three years. After two years the members of CEN will be requested to submit their
comments, particularly on the question whether the CEN/TS can be converted into a European Standard.

CEN members are required to announce the existence of this CEN/TS in the same way as for an EN and to make the CEN/TS available
promptly at national level in an appropriate form. It is permissible to keep conflicting national standards in force (in parallel to the CEN/TS)
until the final decision about the possible conversion of the CEN/TS into an EN is reached.
