Small craft - Craft identification - Coding system (ISO 10087:2006)

ISO 10087:2006 establishes a coding system to achieve identification of any small craft in terms of
identification code of the country of the manufacturer;
identification code of the manufacturer;
serial number;
month and year of manufacture;
model year.
It applies to small craft of all types and materials, of hull length up to 24 m. It does not apply to beach or bathing toys.

Kleine Wasserfahrzeuge - Schiffskörper-Kennzeichnung - Codierungssystem (ISO 10087:2006)

Diese Internationale Norm legt ein Codierungssystem fest, nach dem jedes kleine Wasserfahrzeug zu identifizieren ist.
-   Identifizierungs-Code des Landes;
-   Identifizierungs-Code des Herstellers;
-   Seriennummer;
-   Monat und Jahr der Herstellung;
-   Modelljahr.
Diese Norm gilt für kleine Wasserfahrzeuge aller Bauarten und aus allen Werkstoffen bis 24 m Rumpflänge. Sie gilt nicht für Strand- und Badeboote.

L'ISO 10087:2006 établit un système de codage permettant l'identification de tout bateau, concernant les aspects suivants:
le code d'identification du pays du constructeur;
le code d'identification du constructeur;
le numéro de série;
le mois et l'année de construction;
l'année modèle.
Elle est applicable aux petits navires de tous types et matériaux, dont la longueur de coque est inférieure ou égale à 24 m. Elle n'est pas applicable aux jouets de plage ou de baignade.

This document (EN ISO 10087:2006) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 188
"Small craft" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/SS T01 "Shipbuilding and maritime
structures", the secretariat of which is held by CMC.

This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by September 2006, and conflicting national
standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by September 2006.

This document supersedes EN ISO 10087:1996.

This document has been prepared under a mandate given to CEN by the European Commission
and the European Free Trade Association, and supports essential requirements of EU Directive(s).

For relationship with EU Directive(s), see informative Annex ZA, which is an integral part of this
