This part of ISO 11334 specifies the requirements and test methods of walking sticks with three or more legs being used as assistive products for walking manipulated by one arm without accessories, unless specified in the particular test procedure.                              
The standard is not applicable to walking sticks with three or more legs with underarm or forearm support or with moving parts such as a universal joint.

Dieses Dokument legt Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für Gehstöcke mit drei oder mehr Beinen fest, die als technische Hilfen zum Gehen mit einem Arm ohne Zubehör gehandhabt werden, sofern es in dem jewei
ligen Prüfverfahren nicht anders festgelegt ist. Dieses Dokument enthält außerdem Anforderungen bezüglich der Sicherheit, Ergonomie und Leistungsfähigkeit und der vom Hersteller bereitzustellenden Informationen, einschließlich Kennzeichnung und Aufschriften.
Die Anforderungen und Prüfungen richten sich nach dem alltäglichen Gebrauch von Gehstöcken mit drei oder mehr Beinen als technische Hilfen zum Gehen für Personen mit einem vom Hersteller festgelegten maximalen Benutzergewicht. Dieses Dokument bezieht sich auf Gehstöcke mit drei oder mehr Beinen, die für Personen mit einem Körpergewicht von mindestens 35kg bestimmt sind.
Dieses Dokument ist nicht anwendbar auf Gehstöcke mit drei oder mehr Beinen mit Unterarmauflage oder mit beweglichen Teilen wie z.B. einem Universalgelenk.
