ISO 389-5:2006 specifies reference equivalent threshold sound pressure levels (RETSPLs) of pure tones in the frequency range from 8 kHz to 16 kHz applicable to the calibration of air conduction audiometers for specific earphones.

Dieser Teil von ISO 389 legt äquivalente Bezugs-Schwellenschalldruckpegel (RETSPL) von reinen Tönen im Frequenzbereich von 8 kHz bis 16 kHz fest, welche zur Kalibrierung von Luftleitungs-Audiometern für bestimmte Kopfhörer verwendet werden.

This document (EN ISO 389-5:2006) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 43
"Acoustics" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 211 "Acoustics", the secretariat
of which is held by DS.

This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of
an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by May 2007, and conflicting national standards
shall be withdrawn at the latest by May 2007.

This document supersedes EN ISO 389-5:1999.
