Surface active agents - Determination of the total polyethylene glycol content of non-ionic surface active agents (EO adducts) by HPLC/GPC

This European Standard specifies a method for the determination of the total polyethylene glycol (PEG) content of aromatic and aliphatic non-ionic surface active agents of the type R - (O - C2H4)p - OH, where p is the mean ethylene oxide (EO) value. It applies for concentrations of PEG higher than approximately 0,1 g/100 g of the laboratory sample.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Bestimmung des Gesamtgehaltes von Polyethylenglycol (PEG) von aromatischen und aliphatischen nichtionischen grenzflächenaktiven Stoffen des Typs R - (O-C2H4)p - OH fest, wobei p die mittlere Anzahl von Ethylenoxide (EO)-Gruppen darstellt. Sie ist anwendbar auf Massenanteile PEG in der Probe größer etwa 0,1 g/100 g.

La présente norme européenne spécifie une méthode de détermination de la teneur totale en polyéthylène glycol (PEG) des agents de surface aromatiques et aliphatiques non ioniques du type R - (O-C2H4)p - OH où p est la valeur moyenne en oxyde d'éthylène (OE). Elle s'applique à des concentrations en PEG supérieures à environ 0,1 g pour 100 g d'échantillon pour laboratoire.
