Malleable cast iron fittings with compression ends for polyethylene (PE) piping systems

This document specifies the requirements for the design, performance and testing of fittings made of malleable cast iron (see also Clause 5 Materials) with compression ends for polyethylene piping systems.
This document applies to piping systems in polyethylene (PE) materials for different application fields, such as water and gas supply, water distribution, irrigation, aqueous liquids, pressurized air and gaseous fuel systems.
NOTE   Products complying with this document used for water applications intended for human consumption are expected to comply with the relevant national, regional or local regulatory provisions applicable in the place of use. Due to the variety and dynamic of the requirements, it is advisable to check the compliance.
The malleable cast iron fittings specified in this standard are of compression end type for the connection of PE pipes or of transition type with combined compression ends for pipes in different materials or with combined compression and threaded ends in conformance with EN 10226-1. Their range of sizes covers nominal outside diameters of PE pipes dn 16 mm to dn 110 mm (DN 10 to DN 100) and pipe thread sizes ⅜ to 4.

Tempergußfittings mit Klemmanschlüssen für Polyethylen(PE)-Rohrleitungssysteme

Dieses Dokument legt die Anforderungen an die Konstruktion, Gebrauchseigenschaften und Prüfung von Fittings aus Temperguss (siehe auch Abschnitt 5, Werkstoffe) mit Klemmanschlüssen für Polyethylen-Rohrleitungsysteme fest.
Dieses Dokument gilt für Rohrleitungssysteme aus Polyethylen-(PE)-Werkstoffen für unterschiedliche Anwendungsgebiete, wie z. B. die Wasser- und Gasversorgung, Wasserverteilung, Bewässerung, wässrige Flüssigkeiten, Druckluft- und Brenngassysteme.
ANMERKUNG   Von Erzeugnissen nach diesem Dokument, die für Anwendungen in der Wasserversorgung für den menschlichen Gebrauch vorgesehen sind, wird erwartet, dass sie den maßgebenden nationalen, regionalen oder örtlichen behördlichen Bestimmungen entsprechen, die am Einsatzort gelten. Aufgrund der Vielzahl und Dynamik der Anforderungen ist es ratsam, die Übereinstimmung zu überprüfen.
Die in dieser Norm beschriebenen Fittings aus Temperguss sind mit Klemmanschlüssen für die Verbindung von Rohren aus PE oder als Übergangsverbinder, entweder mit Klemmanschlüssen für Rohre aus unterschiedlichen Werkstoffen oder mit Klemm- und Gewindeanschlüssen nach EN 10226-1 ausgerüstet. Ihre Größen umfassen die Nenn-Außendurchmesser von PE-Rohren dn 16 mm bis dn 110 mm (DN 10 bis DN 100) und die Gewindegrößen 3⁄8 bis 4.

Le présent document spécifie les exigences relatives à la conception, aux performances et aux essais des raccords en fonte malléable (voir également l'Article 5 Matériaux) avec extrémités à compression pour systèmes de canalisation en polyéthylène.
Le présent document s'applique aux systèmes de canalisation en polyéthylène (PE) utilisables dans différents domaines comme l'alimentation en eau ou en gaz, la distribution d'eau, l'irrigation, les liquides aqueux, l'air sous pression et les systèmes transportant des combustibles de type gazeux.
NOTE   Les produits conformes au présent document utilisés pour les applications d'eau destinées à la consommation humaine sont censés être conformes aux dispositions réglementaires nationales, régionales ou locales applicables à l'endroit où ils sont utilisés. En raison de la variété et de la dynamique des exigences, il est recommandé de vérifier la conformité.
Les raccords en fonte malléable spécifiés dans la présente norme sont du type à embout à compression dans le cas du raccordement de tubes en polyéthylène ou du type à transition avec extrémités combinées à compression dans le cas de tubes de matériaux différents ou ayant des extrémités combinées à compression et filetées conformément à l'EN 10226-1. Leur plage dimensionnelle couvre les diamètres extérieurs nominaux de tubes en PE compris entre dn 16 mm et dn 110 mm (DN 10 à DN 100) et les dimensions de filetages ⅜ à 4.
