This European Standard specifies the characteristics of square flange hermetic receptacles in the family
of circular electrical connectors with triple start threaded coupling.
It applies to models in Table 3.
The contacts are unremovable and soldered termination.
For plugs and protective covers, see EN 3645-008, EN 3645-011, EN 3645-012 and EN 3645-006
respectively.
These connectors are derived from and interchangeable with model Y in specification
MIL-DTL-38999/21.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Eigenschaften von hermetischen festen Steckverbindern mit quadratischem Montageflansch in der Familie der elektrischen Rundsteckverbinder mit dreigängiger Gewinde-Schnellkupp-lung fest.
Sie gilt für die in Tabelle 3 angegebenen Bauformen.
Die Kontakte sind nicht lösbar und haben einen Lötanschluss.
Hinsichtlich freier Steckverbinder und Schutzkappen, siehe EN 3645-008, EN 3645-011, EN 3645-012 und EN 3645-006.
Diese Steckverbinder wurden von der Bauform Y in der Spezifikation MIL-DTL-38999/21 abgeleitet und sind mit dieser austauschbar.

Ta evropski standard določa značilnosti hermetičnih spojnikov s kvadratno prirobnico iz družine
okroglih električnih konektorjev s hitro spojko z navojem.
Uporablja se za modele iz preglednice 3.
Kontakti so neodstranljivi in spajkani priključki.
Za čepe in zaščitna prekrivala glej ustrezne standarde EN 3645-008, EN 3645-011, EN 3645-012 in EN 3645-006. Ti konektorji izhajajo iz modela Y v specifikaciji MIL-DTL-38999/21 in so medsebojno zamenljivi z njim.
