This standard specifies the characteristics of protective covers for receptacles in the family of circular electrical connectors coupled by threaded ring.
It applies to the class defined in Table 2.
For receptacles associated with these protective covers, see EN 2997-003 to EN 2997-007.

Diese Norm legt die Eigenschaften von Schutzkappen für feste Steckverbinder in der Familie der elektrischen Rundsteckverbinder mit Schraubkupplung fest.
Sie gilt für die in Tabelle 2 festgelegte Klasse.
Hinsichtlich der zu diesen Schutzkappen zugehörigen festen Steckverbinder siehe EN 2997-003 bis
EN 2997-007.
