Resilient floor coverings - Heterogeneous poly(vinyl chloride) floor coverings - Specification (ISO 10582:2010)

ISO 10582:2010 specifies the characteristics of non-cushioned, heterogeneous floor coverings, based on poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC), supplied in either tile or roll form. Products may contain a transparent, non-PVC factory finish.
To encourage the consumer to make an informed choice, ISO 10582:2010 includes a classification system (see ISO 10874) based on the intensity of use, which shows where these floor coverings give satisfactory service. It also specifies requirements for marking.

Elastische Bodenbeläge - Heterogene Polyvinylchlorid-Bodenbeläge - Spezifikation (ISO 10582:2010)

Diese Internationale Norm legt die Eigenschaften von ungeschäumten, heterogenen Bodenbelägen auf der
Basis von Polyvinylchlorid (PVC) fest, die sowohl in Form von Platten als auch Rollen geliefert werden. Die
Produkte können eine transparente, nicht aus PVC bestehende Oberflächenausführung enthalten.
Um den Verbraucher bei seiner Auswahl zu unterstützen, enthält diese Norm ein Klassifizierungssystem
(siehe ISO 10874) auf Basis der Nutzungsintensität, das zeigt, wofür diese Bodenbeläge zufriedenstellend
eingesetzt werden können. Die Norm legt auch die Anforderungen zur Kennzeichnung fest.

L'ISO 10582:2010 spécifie les caractéristiques des revêtements de sol rigides et hétérogènes à base de polychlorure de vinyle (PVC), fournis sous forme de dalles ou de rouleaux. Les produits peuvent contenir un enduit d'usine transparent et sans PVC.
Pour aider le consommateur à faire un choix éclairé, l'ISO 10582:2010 inclut un système de classification (voir l'ISO 10874) basé sur l'intensité d'utilisation, qui indique pour quelles applications ces revêtements de sol se révèlent satisfaisants. Elle spécifie également les exigences relatives au marquage.

Ta mednarodni standard določa značilnosti nepenjenih, heterogenih talnih oblog na osnovi polivinilklorida, ki so na voljo obliki plošč ali zvitkov.  Talne obloge imajo lahko transparenten tovarniško pripravljen zaključni sloj, ki ni iz PVC. Da bi ta standard potrošnike spodbujal k sprejemanju utemeljenih odločitev, vsebuje sistem razvrščanja (glejte EN 10874) na podlagi intenzivnosti uporabe, ki kaže, kje bi se te talne obloge lahko zadovoljivo uporabljale.  Vključuje tudi zahteve za označevanje.

The text of ISO 10582:2010 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 219 “Floor coverings” of the
International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as EN ISO 10582:2012 by
Technical Committee CEN/TC 134 “Resilient, textile and laminate floor coverings” the secretariat of which is
held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by August 2012, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
the latest by August 2012.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
