Resilient floor coverings - Heterogeneous poly(vinyl chloride) floor covering - Specifications (ISO 10582:2017)

ISO 10582:2017 specifies the characteristics of non-cushioned, heterogeneous floor coverings, consisting of poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC), supplied in either tile or plank or roll form. Products can contain a transparent, non-PVC factory finish.
To encourage the consumer to make an informed choice, this document includes a classification system (see ISO 10874) based on the intensity of use, which shows where these floor coverings give satisfactory service. It also specifies requirements for marking.

Elastische Bodenbeläge - Heterogene Poly(vinylchlorid)-Bodenbeläge - Spezifikationen (ISO 10582:2017)

Diese Internationale Norm legt die Eigenschaften von ungeschäumten, heterogenen, aus Polyvinylchlorid (PVC) bestehenden Bodenbelägen fest, die sowohl in Form von Platten oder Dielen als auch Rollen geliefert werden. Die Produkte dürfen eine transparente, nicht aus PVC bestehende Oberflächenausführung enthalten.
Diese Internationale Norm enthält, um den Verbraucher bei seiner Auswahl zu unterstützen, ein Klassifizierungssystem (siehe ISO 10874) auf Basis der Nutzungsintensität, das zeigt, wofür diese Bodenbeläge zufriedenstellend eingesetzt werden können. Die Norm legt auch die Anforderungen zur Kennzeichnung fest.

Le présent document spécifie les caractéristiques des revêtements de sol compacts et hétérogènes composés de poly(chlorure de vinyle) (PVC), fournis sous forme de dalles, de lames ou de rouleaux. Les produits peuvent contenir une finition d'usine transparente et sans PVC.
Pour aider le consommateur à faire un choix éclairé, le présent document inclut un système de classification (voir l'ISO 10874) basé sur l'intensité d'utilisation, qui indique pour quelles applications ces revêtements de sol se révèlent satisfaisants. Il spécifie également les exigences relatives au marquage.

Ta dokument določa značilnosti nepenjenih, heterogenih talnih oblog iz polivinilklorida (PVC), ki so na voljo obliki plošč, trakov ali zvitkov. Talne obloge imajo lahko prosojen tovarniški zaključni sloj, ki ni iz PVC.
Za spodbujanje potrošnikov k sprejemanju utemeljenih odločitev vsebuje ta dokument sistem razvrščanja (glej ISO 10874) na podlagi intenzivnosti uporabe, ki kaže, kje se lahko te talne obloge zadovoljivo uporabljajo. Vključuje tudi zahteve za označevanje.

This document (EN ISO 10582:2018) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 219 "Floor
coverings" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 134 “Resilient, textile and laminate floor
coverings”, the secretariat of which is held by NBN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by July 2018, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by July 2018.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN ISO 10582-2:2012.
