Malleable cast iron fittings with compression ends for steel pipes

This document specifies the requirements for the design, performance and testing of fittings made of malleable cast iron (see also Clause 5 Materials) with compression ends for steel pipes.
This document applies to steel piping systems for different application fields, such as supply and distribution of gas, water for general purposes (e.g. irrigation) as well as for human consumption, aqueous liquids and pressurized air.
This document contains requirements and tests relating to compression fittings which can be connected to smooth walled steel pipes. The fittings can also incorporate other types of connection, such as threaded ends in conformance with EN 10226-1, flanged ends, compression ends for connection for pipes other than steel, and can also take on various structural shapes, such as, straight adaptor piece, elbow or T-piece. Their range of sizes covers nominal sizes DN 10 to DN 100 (fitting size 3/8 to 4).

Tempergussfittings mit Klemmanschlüssen für Stahlrohre

Dieses Dokument legt die Anforderungen an die Konstruktion, Gebrauchseigenschaften und Prüfung von Fittings aus Temperguss (siehe auch Abschnitt 5, Werkstoffe) mit Klemmanschlüssen für Stahlrohre fest.
Dieses Dokument ist anwendbar für Rohrleitungssysteme aus Stahl für unterschiedliche Anwendungsbereiche, z. B. Verteilung und Versorgung mit Gas, Wasser für allgemeine Zwecke (z. B. Bewässerung) sowie für den menschlichen Gebrauch, wässrige Flüssigkeiten und Druckluft.
Dieses Dokument enthält Anforderungen und Prüfungen in Bezug auf Fittings mit Klemmanschluss, die mit glattendigen Stahlrohren verbunden werden können. Die Fittings können auch andere Verbindungsarten umfassen, z. B. Gewindeverbindungen nach EN 10226-1, sowie Flansch- und Klemmverbindungen für den Anschluss an Rohre aus anderen Werkstoffen als Stahl und können auch in unterschiedlichen Formen ausgeführt sein, z. B. als gerader Übergang, Winkel oder T-Stück. Der Größenbereich umfasst die Nennweiten DN 10 bis DN 100 (Fittinggröße 3/8 bis 4).

Le présent document spécifie les exigences relatives à la conception, aux performances et aux essais des raccords en fonte malléable (voir également l'Article 5, Matériaux) avec extrémités à compression pour les tubes en acier.
Le présent document s'applique aux systèmes de canalisation en acier utilisables dans différents domaines, comme l'alimentation et la distribution en gaz, l’eau à des fins générales (par exemple l’irrigation), ainsi que pour la consommation humaine, les liquides aqueux et l'air sous pression.
Le présent document contient des exigences et des essais relatifs aux raccords à compression qui peuvent être raccordés à des tubes en acier à paroi lisse. Les raccords peuvent également inclure d'autres types de raccordements, tels que des extrémités filetées conformes à l'EN 10226-1, des extrémités à brides, des extrémités à compression pour les tubes autres qu'en acier et ils peuvent également prendre différentes formes de structure, telles que la pièce d’adaptateur droite, le coude ou la pièce en T. Leur gamme de dimensions couvre les dimensions nominales DN 10 à DN 100 (dimension des raccords 3/8 à 4).
