Ta evropski standard določa zahteve in preskuse za sisteme kabelskih korit (CTS) in sisteme kabelskih cevi (CDS), ki so namenjeni namestitvi in po potrebi električnemu zaščitnemu ločevanju izoliranih prevodnikov, kablov in morda druge električne opreme v inštalacijah električnih in/ali komunikacijskih sistemih. Maksimalna napetost teh inštalacij je 1000 V izmeničnega toka in 1500 V enosmernega toka. Ti sistemi so namenjeni montaži na stene in/ali strope. Lahko so vdelani, pritrjeni v vgreznem ali polvgreznem stanju, pritrjeni na površino ali od nje z uporabo pritrditvenih naprav. Ta standard ne velja za sisteme napeljav, sisteme kabelskih polic, sisteme kabelskih lestev, tirne sisteme za električno napeljavo ali opremo, ki jo zajemajo drugi standardi. Ta standard se uporablja skupaj z EN 50085-1:2005: Sistemi kabelskih korit in sistemi kabelskih cevi za električne inštalacije; 1. del Splošne zahteve, ki je naveden v tem dokumentu kot 1. del.

This amendment A1 modifies the European Standard EN 50085-2-1:2006; it was approved by CENELEC on
2011-10-10. CENELEC members are bound to comply with the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations which
stipulate the conditions for giving this amendment the status of a national standard without any alteration.

Up-to-date lists and bibliographical references concerning such national standards may be obtained on
application to the CEN-CENELEC Management Centre or to any CENELEC member.

This amendment exists in three official versions (English, French, German). A version in any other language
made by translation under the responsibility of a CENELEC member into its own language and notified to the

10.101 Compression test for CDS
Replacement:
CDS shall have adequate resistance to compression to ensure that insulated conductors or
cables can be drawn in.
Compliance is checked by the following test:
The test is carried out on a ducting length (250 ± 5) mm long. The sample is positioned on a flat
and horizontal steel support simulating the mounting surface, in its most unfavourable stable
position allowed by the manufacturer’s instruction.
