The text of document 65C/602/FDIS, future edition 2 of IEC 61784-5-11, prepared by SC 65C, "Industrial
networks", of IEC/TC 65, "Industrial-process measurement, control and automation" was submitted to the
IEC-CENELEC parallel vote and approved by CENELEC as EN 61784-5-11:2012.
The following dates are fixed:

This document supersedes EN 61784-5-11:2008.
EN 61784-5-11:2012 includes the following significant technical changes with respect to
EN 61784-5-11:2008:
— Addition of a new Annex B 8 (normative).
This standard is to be used in conjunction with IEC 61918, second edition (2010-07), together with the
European Common Modification published with EN 61918:2008.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
