Maritime navigation and radiocommunication equipment and systems - Electronic chart display and information system (ECDIS) - Operational and performance requirements, methods of testing and required test results

IEC 61174:2015 is available as IEC 61174:2015 RLV which contains the International Standard and its Redline version, showing all changes of the technical content compared to the previous edition. IEC 61174:2015(E) specifies the performance requirements, methods of testing and required test results of equipment conforming to performance standards not inferior to those adopted by the IMO in resolution MSC.232(82). This standard is based upon the performance standards of IMO resolution MSC.232(82), and is also associated with IMO resolution A.694(17) and IEC 60945. Reference is made, where appropriate, to IMO resolution MSC.232(82), and all subclauses whose wording is identical to that in the resolution are printed in italics. The requirements of this standard are not intended to prevent the use of new techniques in equipment and systems, provided the facilities offered are not inferior to those stated. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition: - updated references are provided to IHO publications and test methods are updated to IHO test data sets; - requirements have been added for display of radar and AIS information; - new interface requirements have been added for BNWAS, VDR, BAM, MSI, INS and route transfer; - a requirement for an anchor watch has been added; - additional test methods are specified for operation of ECDIS beyond the normal range between 85 degrees South latitude and 85 degrees North latitude.

IEC 61174:2015 spécifie les exigences de fonctionnement, les méthodes d'essai et les résultats d'essai exigibles des équipements conformes aux normes de fonctionnement équivalant au moins à celles adoptées par l'OMI dans le cadre de la résolution MSC.232(82). La présente norme se fonde sur les normes de fonctionnement stipulées dans la résolution MSC.232(82) de l'OMI et est également associée à la résolution A.694(17) de l'OMI ainsi qu'à l'IEC 60945. Il est fait référence, lorsque c'est approprié, à la résolution MSC.232(82) de l'OMI, et tous les paragraphes qui présentent une formulation identique à celle de la résolution sont imprimés en italiques. A la résolution MSC.232(82) de l'OMI mentionnée ci-dessus s'ajoutent les publications de l'Organisation Hydrographique Internationale (OHI) OHI S-32, OHI S-52, OHI S-57, OHI S 61, OHI S-63 et OHI S-64. Ta mednarodni standard določa tehnične zahteve, preskusne metode in zahtevane rezultate preskusov opreme, ki so skladni s tehničnimi standardi in niso manjvredni od tistih, ki jih je sprejela Mednarodna pomorska organizacija (IMO) v resoluciji MSC.232(82).
Ta standard temelji na tehničnih standardih iz resolucije Mednarodne pomorske organizacije MSC.232(82) ter je povezan tudi z njeno resolucijo A.694(17) in standardom IEC 60945. Kjer je primerno, so navedeni sklici na resolucijo Mednarodne pomorske organizacije MSC.232(82), pri čemer so vse točke, katerih besedilo je enako tistemu iz resolucije, natisnjene ležeče.
Z zgoraj navedeno resolucijo MSC.232(82) so povezane naslednje publikacije Mednarodne hidrografske organizacije (IHO)1. IHO S-32, IHO S-52, IHO S-57, IHO S-61, IHO S-63 in IHO S-64. Ta standard vključuje izvlečke iz zgoraj navedenih publikacij, kjer je to primerno za to opremo. Pri sklicih so vse točke, katerih besedilo je enako tistemu iz teh publikacij, natisnjene ležeče.
(232/A2.1) Te tehnične standarde naj bi uporabljali za vso opremo ECDIS, ki je na vseh
ladjah nameščena kot:
– namenska samostojna delovna postaja,
– večnamenska delovna postaja kot del integriranega navigacijskega sistema (INS).
(232/A2.2) Ti tehnični standardi se uporabljajo za načine obratovanja ECDIS, ECDIS v načinu RCDS, kot je določeno v dodatku G, in za varnostne ureditve ECDIS, kot je določeno v dodatku F. (232/A2.3). Zahteve za strukturo in obliko zapisa, šifriranje in predstavitev podatkov o kartah spadajo v področje uporabe relevantnih standardov Mednarodne hidrografske organizacije, vključno z zahtevami, navedenimi v sklicih na druge standarde. Zahteve iz tega standarda ne preprečujejo uporabe novih tehnologij v opremi in sistemih, razen če je ponujena oprema manjvredna od navedene.
