Pour les lampes destinées à être utilisées aux tensions d’alimentation du Royaume-Uni, il est
admis que le marquage de la tension assignée soit 240 volts ou 240 V.
NOTE – Au Royaume-Uni, la mise en application du processus d’harmonisation européenne de la tension 230 V
permet de conserver le 240 V pour les tensions d’alimentation.

Remplacer le texte existant de ce paragraphe par ce qui suit:
Les lignes de fuite minimales entre la chemise métallique du culot et les contacts doivent être
en conformité avec la distance indiquée dans la feuille de caractéristiques du culot
correspondant de la CEI 60061-1.

2.9 Sécurité en fin de durée de vie
Remplacer le texte du premier tiret du deuxième alinéa par le nouveau texte suivant:
– un essai de défaillance provoquée conformément à l’annexe D, ou conformément à
l’essai alternatif de défaillance de l’annexe A de la CEI 60432-2, et
Remplacer la note 1 existante par les nouvelles notes 1 et 2 suivantes et renuméroter les notes
2 et 3 existantes pour qu’elles deviennent respectivement notes 3 et 4:

The rated voltage marking for lamps intended for use on United Kingdom supply voltages may
be 240 volts or 240 V.
NOTE – The United Kingdom implementation of 230 V European harmonization process allows supply voltages
to remain at 240 V.

2.8 Creepage distance for B15d and B22d capped lamps
Replace the existing text of this subclause by the following:
The minimum creepage distance between the metal shell of the cap and the contents shall be
in accordance with the distance given on the relevant cap sheet in IEC 60061-1.

2.9 Safety at end of life
Replace the first dash of the second paragraph by the following new text:
– an induced-failure test in accordance with annex D, or in accordance with the alternative
induced-failure test of annex A of IEC 60432-2, and
Replace the existing note 1 by the following new notes 1 and 2 and renumber the existing
notes 2 and 3 as notes 3 and 4 respectively:
1 In case of disagreement, tests of annexes D and E are the reference methods.
2 The induced-failure test is not suitable for lamps with rated voltages below 100 V; however, the alternative
induced-failure test is suitable for lamps with rated voltages below 100 V.
