IEC 63356-2:2024 specifies design parameters and design values of an LED light source or related interface characteristics.
NOTE 1 Interface characteristics can cover interfaces between the LED light source and the luminaire or the controlgear, or the LED light source and additional attachments.
NOTE 2 Interfaces can be related to for example electrical, mechanical, or optical aspects.
This document does not cover interchangeability between products from different LED light source manufacturers.
NOTE 3 Interchangeability is covered by IEC 63356-1.
Lamp caps and lampholders specified in the IEC 60061 series are not within the scope of this document. This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition published in 2022. This edition constitutes a technical revision.

IEC 63013:2017 is applicable to LED packages for general lighting services.
It specifies procedures and conditions for measuring the luminous flux maintenance of LED packages. It also provides the procedures and conditions (criteria) of projecting the long-term luminous flux maintenance based on limited luminous flux maintenance test data collected. Within the context of this document, wherever luminous flux measurement data is specified, radiant flux measurement data can also be used.

IEC 60809:2021 is applicable to electric light sources for use in automotive applications, for example in road illumination devices and/or light signalling devices for road vehicles.
It is especially applicable to light sources listed in UN Resolution R.E.5 and light sources subject to other legislations.
This fourth edition cancels and replaces the third edition published in 2014, Amendment 1:2017, Amendment 2:2017 and Amendment 3:2019. This edition constitutes a technical revision.
This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition:
a) Introduction of a light technical measurement on LED light sources intended for use in front-lighting applications.
b) As the original data sheets and some figures from previous editions were not available in an editable format, they have been reproduced from their old format, following the current drafting rules and are now in single language format. a) A set of new lamp data sheets has been introduced for lamp types designed for replacing high pressure sodium lamps.
b) A set of new lamp data sheets has been introduced for 4 200 K versions of 3 000 K lamp types already in the standard.
c) A set of new lamp data sheets has been introduced for new lamp types where high frequency ignition data is important.
d) Annex G has been revised to incorporate high frequency ignition. As a consequence of this change, all data sheets in the standard have been revised to a new format.
e) A new informative Annex K has been introduced, giving recommended methods of making lamp temperature measurements.

IEC TS 62861:2017(E) This Technical Specification provides guidelines for establishing confidence in product reliability using principal component testing for LED light sources and LED luminaires for general lighting. It includes methods and criteria using initial qualification tests and accelerated stress tests of the principal components. The performance of any principal component will influence the performance of the final product.
Techniques to validate full lifetime claims and lumen maintenance projection are outside the scope of this Technical Specification. The following principal components are included in the testing if they are used as an integral part for the LED light source or LED luminaire:
- LED package and interconnects;
- optical materials;
- electronic subassemblies;
- cooling systems, both active (e.g. fans) and passive (e.g. thermal interface material);
- construction materials.
This Technical Specification is not recommended for use as a normative reference to the LED product performance standards.
