This amendment has been prepared by subcommittee 23H: Industrial plugs and socket-
outlets, of IEC technical committee 23: Electrical accessories.
The text of this amendment is based on the following documents:

1 Scope
Replace in the first paragraph the value “690 V” by “1 000 V”.

This standard applies to accessories with screwless type terminals or insulation piercing
terminals, with a rated current up to and including 32 A for series I and 30 A for series II.
