It can also be used for range hoods with external blowers, if these blowers are controlled by
the range hood and the blower is defined in the technical documentation (e.g. name plate
data) and instructions for installation.

instructions du fabricant.
Le conduit à utiliser pour le raccordement au ventilateur est le conduit de taille maximale
conformément aux instructions.
6.3 Tension d’alimentation

12 Absorption des graisses

Pour les hottes avec ventilateur externe, il n’est pas nécessaire de monter le ventilateur
externe pendant l’essai d’absorption des graisses. Le débit d’air souhaité peut aussi être
obtenu en utilisant le ventilateur auxiliaire et en contrôlant le débit d’air à l’aide d’un dispositif
approprié.
Insérer,après la première phrase du troisième alinéa, la phrase suivante:
L’encadrement du filtre absolu ne doit retenir aucune humidité.

12 Grease absorption
Insert, after the end of the first paragraph, the following note and new paragraph:

For range hoods with an external blower the external blower does not need to be mounted
during the grease absorption test. The desired airflow rate can instead be achieved by using
the auxiliary fan and controlling the air flow with a suitable device.
Insert, after the first sentence of the third paragraph, the following sentence:
The frame of the absolute filter shall not pick up any humidity.

13 Extraction des odeurs
Remplacer, à la fin de la dernière phrase du premier alinéa, «est réglé pour le point de
fonctionnement 1 (voir Figure 2).» par ce qui suit:
…est réglé pour le point de fonctionnement réel (voir Article 11 et Figure 2).
Supprimer la «Note 1».
Insérer, après la troisième phrase du second alinéa, la nouvelle phrase suivante:
Les éléments de cuisine doivent être rendus hermétiques au reste de l’air de la salle d’essai.
Insérer, après la quatrième phrase du second alinéa, les nouvelles phrases suivantes:
Il est également nécessaire dans ce cas d’avoir un système d’évacuation d’air incorporant
une valve d’arrêt, un débitmètre d’air et, dans la plupart des cas, un ventilateur auxiliaire.
Pour les hottes avec ventilateur externe, il n’est pas nécessaire de monter le ventilateur
externe pendant l’essai d’extraction des odeurs. Le débit d’air souhaité peut aussi être obtenu
en utilisant le ventilateur auxiliaire.
Remplacer, dans la dernière phrase du second alinéa «Un exemple de salle» par «Une salle»
et «est illustré» par «est illustrée».
Re-numéroter la «Note 2» en «Note 1»
Insérer, après la nouvelle Note 1, la nouvelle Note 2 suivante:
NOTE 2 Pendant les essais de hottes aspirantes, il convient de prendre des mesures pour éviter la
contamination de l’air aspiré par du MEK de l’air rejeté.
Remplacer, dans le troisième alinéa, «le foyer de cuisson avant gauche, la température
interne de sa base étant maintenue» par ce qui suit:
…le foyer de cuisson avant gauche, ayant le même diamètre de fond qu’une casserole. La
température au fond de la casserole, à 40 mm du bord, doit être maintenue…
