This Part of prCEN/TS 13126 specifies the requirements and test procedures for durability, strength, security and function of Tilt & Turn, Tilt-First and Turn-Only hardware for windows and balcony doors in accordance with the diagrams A, B an E annex A, prCEN/TS 13126-1.
By means of this standard, the user of recognised tested hardware can presume, that with correct usage, the Tilt&Turn, Tilt-First or Turn-Only hardware complete mechanism for windows and balcony-doors has met the prescribed requirements.
In order to maintain the guaranteed characteristics during the utilization period, it is indispensable to comply with the manufacturers product information as well as the manufacturers maintenance & service instructions in a manner that can be proven.

Dieser Teil von prCEN/TS 13126 legt die Anforderungen an und Prüfverfahren für die Dauerfunktionstüchtig-keit, Festigkeit, Schutzwirkung und Funktionsweise von Drehkipp-, Kippdreh- und Drehbeschlägen für Fenster und Fenstertüren nach den graphischen Darstellungen A, B und E in Anhang A von prCEN/TS 13126-1:2003 fest.
Durch diese Technische Spezifikationkann dkann er Anwender von anerkannt geprüften Beschlägen davon ausgehen, dass bei sach-gemäßem Gebrauch von Drehkipp-, Kippdreh- oder Drehfenstern und Fenstertüren die vorgeschriebenen Anforderungen erfüllt werden.
Damit während der Benutzungsdauer die zugesicherten Eigenschaften aufrechterhalten werden können, ist es unerlässlich, die Produktinformation des Herstellers sowie Wartungs- und Bedienungsanweisungen in einer Art beizulegen, die nachvollziehbar ist.

La présente partie du CEN/TS 13126 spécifie les exigences et méthodes d'essai relatives a l'endurance, a la résistance, a la sécurité des biens et au fonctionnement des ferrures d'oscillo-battant, de battant-oscillant et d'ouvrant pivotant pour fenetres et portes de balcon, conformément aux diagrammes A, B et E du prCEN/TS 13126-1, annexe A.
Grâce a cette norme et sous réserve d'un usage approprié, l'utilisateur de la ferrure dument soumise aux essais peut considérer que le mécanisme complet de la ferrure d'oscillo-battant, de battant-oscillant ou d'ouvrant pivotant pour fenetres ou portes de balcon a satisfait aux conditions prescrites.
Pour que les caractéristiques garanties subsistent pendant toute la période d'utilisation, il est indispensable de se conformer de façon démontrable aux informations produit du fabricant ainsi qu'a ses instructions de maintenance et de service.
