This standard specifies the characteristics of square flange mounted receptacles in the family of circular electrical connectors coupled by threaded ring. It applies to models defined in table 4. Foe contacts, filler plugs and rear accessories associated with this receptacle see EN 2997-002. For plugs and protective covers see EN 2997-008 and EN 2997-009 respectively.

Diese Norm legt die Eigenschaften der festen Steckverbinder mit quadratischem Montageflansch aus der Familie der elektrischen Rundsteckverbinder mit Schraubkupplung fest. Sie gilt für die in Tabelle 4 festgelegten Bauformen. Für die für diesen festen Steckverbinder verwendbaren Kontakte, Blindstopfen und rückseitigen Zubehörteile, siehe EN 2997-002. Für die freien Steckverbinder und Schutzkappen siehe jeweils EN 2997-008 und EN 2997-009.

La présente norme spécifie les caractéristiques des embases a fixation par collerette carrée de la famille des connecteurs électriques circulaires a accouplement par bague filetée. Elle s'applique aux modeles définis dans le tableau 4. Pour les contacts, les obturateurs et les accessoires arriere associés a cette embase voir EN 2997-002. Pour les fiches et les bouchons de vol voir respectivement EN 2997-008 et EN 2997-009.
