This European Standard specifies the characteristics of electrical lightweight wires DRA family for use in the on-board 115 V (phase to neutral) or 200 V (phase to phase) electrical systems of aircraft at operating temperatures between  65 °C and 260 °C. These cables are demonstrated to be arc resistant in sizes 001 to 020 (26 AWG to 14 AWG).

La présente Norme Européenne spécifie les caractéristiques des câbles électriques légers de la famille DRA, utilisés dans les systèmes électriques de bord des aéronefs 115 V (entre phase et neutre) ou 200 V (entre phases) à des températures de fonctionnement comprises entre  65 °C et 260 °C. Ces câbles de taille 001 à 020 (26 AWG à 14 AWG) ont démontrés leurs résitances aux arcs électriques.

Ta evropski standard določa značilnosti družine električnih žic iz lahkih materialov iz družine DRA za uporabo na krovu v električnih sistemih letala s 115 V (faza, zvezana z nevtralno napetostjo) ali 200 V (faza, zvezana s fazo) pri temperaturi delovanja med –65 °C in 260 °C. Ti kabli so dokazano odporni proti obloku v velikostih od 001 do 020 (26 AWG do 14 AWG).
