Plastics piping systems - Elastomeric sealing ring type joints and mechanical joints for thermoplastics pressure piping - Test method for leaktightness under external hydrostatic pressure

This Standard specifies a test method for checking the leaktightness of elastomeric sealing ring type joints and mechanical joints (excluding fusion-welded joints and adhesive type joints) for thermoplastics pressure piping when the external hydrostatic pressure is greater than the pressure within the pipe.

Diese Norm legt ein Prüfverfahren zur Überprüfung der Dichtheit von Verbindungen mit elastomeren Dichtringen und mechanischen Verbindungen (ausgenommen Schweiß- und Klebverbindungen) für Druckrohrleitungen aus Thermoplasten fest, bei dem der äußere hydrostatische Druck größer als der Druck innerhalb des Rohres ist.
