Bituminous mixtures - Test methods for hot mix asphalt - Part 32: Laboratory compaction of bituminous mixtures by vibratory compactor

This European Standard describes a test method for the preparation of bituminous test specimens using a vibratory compaction technique. The test specimens can include compaction with a vibratory slab compactor from which smaller samples can be cored if required.
This European Standard is applicable to loose mixtures and cores and is used to establish a reference density for a bituminous mixture in accordance with the procedures described in prEN 13108-20, or the ease of compaction as described in EN 12697-10.

Asphalt - Prüfverfahren für Heißasphalt - Teil 32: Laborverdichtung von Asphalt mit einem Vibrationsverdichter

Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt ein Prüfverfahren zur Herstellung von Asphalt-Probekörpern mit Hilfe einer Vibrationsverdichtungstechnik. Die Probekörper können durch Verdichtung mit einem Vibrationsplatten-verdichter hergestellt werden, und falls erforderlich können daraus durch Kernbohren kleinere Probekörper ausgebohrt werden.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt sowohl für loses Mischgut als auch für Bohrkerne und ist bei der Bestimmung einer Bezugsdichte für einen gegebenen Asphalt nach einem der in prEN 13108 20 beschriebenen Verfahren oder bei der Bestimmung der Verdichtbarkeit nach EN 12697 10 anzuwenden.

La présente Norme européenne décrit une méthode d’essai pour la préparation d’éprouvettes bitumineuses
utilisant une technique de compactage vibratoire. Les éprouvettes peuvent inclure un compactage par un
compacteur vibratoire de plaque à l’aide duquel des éprouvettes plus petites peuvent être prélevées si
nécessaire.
Cette Norme européenne s’applique aux carottes et aux mélanges foisonnés et est utilisée afin de déterminer
une masse volumique de référence pour un mélange bitumineux conformément aux modes opératoires
décrits dans le prEN 13108-20 ou la compactabilité comme décrit dans l’EN 12697-10.

materials”, the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This document is currently submitted to the CEN Enquiry.
This document will supersede EN 12697-32:2003+A1:2007.
The following is a list of significant technical changes since the previous edition:
 The scope includes compaction with a vibratory slab compactor;

1 Scope
