Surfaces for sports areas - Determination of vertical ball behaviour
This European Standard specifies a method for determination of the rebound height of a ball from a surface, when dropped vertically.
It gives two alternative recording procedures for measuring the rebound height, visual and acoustic.

Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren für die Bestimmung der Rücksprunghöhe eines Balls von einem Belag fest, wenn er senkrecht fallen gelassen wird.
Es existieren zwei alternative Registrierverfahren für die Messung der Rücksprunghöhe, ein optisches und ein akustisches Verfahren.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie une méthode de détermination de la hauteur de rebond d'une balle ou d'un ballon sur une surface, lorsqu'elle/il tombe verticalement.
Elle indique deux méthodes possibles d'enregistrement de la hauteur de rebond mesurée, a savoir une méthode visuelle et une méthode acoustique.

This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by January 2005, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by January 2005.
