Building hardware - Gasket and weatherstripping for doors, windows, shutters and curtain walling - Part 1: Performance requirements and classification

This part 1 of prEN 33/WI131 specifies the performance requirements and method for the assessment of the properties of all forms of gaskets and weatherstripping both for glazing and for draft and weather sealing purposes. The relevant requirements are applicable to gaskets and weatherstripping of all materials. This European Standard is not applicable to sealants, mastics or putties or any such materials which are extruded in liquid or viscous form into the final place of use.

Die vorliegende Produktnorm EN WI 33 131 legt Anforderungen und Verfahren für die Beurteilung der Eigenschaften aller Formen von Dichtungen und Dichtungsprofilen sowohl für die Verglasung als auch für die Abdichtung gegen Zugluft und Witterungseinflüsse fest. Die wesentlichen Anforderungen gelten für alle Dichtungen und Dichtungsprofile aus allen Materialien. Diese Norm gilt nicht für Abdichtmittel, Mastix, Fensterkitt oder ähnliche Materialien, die in flüssiger oder viskoser Form am Einsatzort eingepreßt werden.

La présente partie de l'EN 12365 spécifie les exigences de performance et des profilés d'étanchéité de vitrage et entre ouvrant et dormant aux fins de contrôle du passage de l'air, de l'eau, du bruit et d'énergie entre les parties fixes et ouvrantes de portes, de fenetres, de fermetures et de façades rideaux.
Les exigences de performance générales de la présente partie de l'EN 12365 s'appliquent aux profilés d'étanchéité de vitrage et entre ouvrant et dormant quels que soient les matériaux.
La présente partie de l'EN 12365 ne s'applique pas aux matériaux d'étanchéité, mastics ou tout autre matériau extrudé sous forme liquide ou visqueuse sur le lieu final d'utilisation.
