This document specifies the required characteristics for heat-shrinkable adhesive lined polyolefin
sleevings for use in aircraft electrical systems at operating temperatures between – 55 °C and 105 °C.
The sleeving consists of an outer layer being of a flexible cross-linked polyolefin. The inner wall consists
of a hot melt adhesive that flows and fuses during the shrinking process to provide a bond that is
suitable where an environmental seal is required.
These sleevings are normally supplied with internal diameters up to 40 mm for shrink ratios of 3:1 and
up to 52 mm for shrink ratios of 4:1.
These sleevings are normally supplied in colour black.
Sizes or colours other than those specifically listed in this standard may be available as custom items.
These items shall be considered to comply with this standard if they comply with the property
requirements listed in Table 3 and Table 5 except for dimensions and mass.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die erforderlichen Eigenschaften von wärmeschrumpfenden, mit Klebstoff auf der Innenseite beschichteten Schläuchen aus Polyolefin zur Verwendung in elektrischen Bordnetzen von Luftfahrzeugen bei Betriebstemperaturen zwischen −55 °C und 105 °C fest.
Die Schläuche bestehen aus einer Außenlage aus flexiblem und vernetztem Polyolefin. Die Innenwand be-steht aus bei Hitze schmelzendem Klebstoff, der während des Schrumpfungsprozesses fließt und ver-schmilzt, sodass eine Bindung entsteht, die für Stellen geeignet ist, an denen eine Abdichtung gegenüber der Umwelt notwendig ist.
Diese Schläuche werden üblicherweise mit Innendurchmessern von bis zu 40 mm bei Schrumpfverhältnis-sen von 3:1 und bis zu 52 mm bei Schrumpfverhältnissen von 4:1 geliefert.

Andere Größen oder Farben als diejenigen, die in dieser Norm angeführt sind, können ebenfalls als benutzer¬definierte Varianten verfügbar sein. La présente Norme européenne spécifie les caractéristiques requises pour les gaines thermorétractables en polyoléfine avec revêtement d’un adhésif destinées à être utilisées dans les systèmes électriques des aéronefs à des températures comprises entre - 55 °C et 105 °C.
La gaine est constituée d’une couche extérieure en polyoléfine flexible réticulée. La paroi intérieure est constituée d’un adhésif thermofusible qui coule, fond et colle pendant le processus de rétractation pour fournir un collage approprié si un joint environnemental est requis.
Ces gaines sont normalement fournies avec des diamètres internes allant jusqu’à 40 mm pour les coefficients de rétreint 3:1 et jusqu’à 52 mm pour les coefficients de rétreint 4:1.
Ces gaines sont normalement fournies en couleur noire.
D’autres tailles ou d’autres couleurs que celles listées spécifiquement dans la présente norme sont potentiellement disponibles comme articles personnalisables.
