This document establishes a system of designation for profiles made of unplasticized poly (vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) intended to be used for building applications.
This part is applicable to light coloured and coloured PVC-U profiles, obtained by a mono-extrusion or a co-extrusion process, with or without surface finishing (e.g. laminated foil, paint, printing process).
It specifies test methods and test parameters.
This method of designation is intended to be used in product specification when the application is specified.
Profiles for the management of electrical power cables, communication cables and power track systems used for the distribution of electrical power, profiles for windows or doors and profiles for guttering are not covered by this document .
NOTE It is intended to use this method for the designation of PVC-U profiles for information related to technical literature of the manufacturer, not for the marking of the products.

Dieses Dokument legt ein Bezeichnungssystem zur Bezeichnung von Profilen aus weichmacherfreiem Polyvinylchlorid (PVC-U) für die Anwendung im Bauwesen fest.
Dieser Teil gilt für hellfarbige und farbige, durch ein Monoextrusions- oder ein Koextrusionsverfahren erhaltene PVC-U-Profile mit oder ohne Oberflächenveredelung (z. B. beschichtete Folie, Lack, Druckverfahren).
Es werden Prüfverfahren und Prüfparameter festgelegt.
Dieses Bezeichnungsverfahren ist für die Verwendung bei der Produktspezifikation vorgesehen, sobald die Anwendung festgelegt ist.
Profile für die Führung elektrischer Stromkabel, Datenkabel und Stromschienen für die Verteilung von elektrischem Strom, Fenster- oder Türprofile und Profile für Dachrinnen werden durch dieses Dokument nicht abgedeckt.
ANMERKUNG Dieses Verfahren ist zur Bezeichnung von PVC-U-Profilen für Informationen in Bezug auf die technische Literatur des Herstellers und nicht für die Kennzeichnung der Produkte zu verwenden.

Le présent document définit un système de désignation des profilés fabriqués en poly(chlorure de vinyle) non plastifié (PVC-U), destinés à être utilisés pour des applications dans le bâtiment.
La présente partie s’applique aux profilés en PVC-U colorés et de coloris clair, obtenus par mono-extrusion ou co-extrusion, avec ou sans finition de surface (par exemple film plaxé, laque, procédé d’impression).
Elle spécifie les méthodes et paramètres d’essai.
Le système de désignation défini est destiné à être utilisé dans la spécification des produits lorsque l’application est spécifiée.
Le présent document ne traite pas des profilés pour la gestion des câbles d’énergie électrique, des câbles de communication et des chemins d’alimentation utilisés pour la distribution de l’énergie électrique, des profilés pour fenêtres ou portes, ni des profilés pour gouttières .
NOTE Il est prévu d’utiliser ce système de désignation des profilés en PVC-U pour les informations liées à la documentation technique du fabricant et non pour le marquage des produits.

1 Scope
This document establishes a system of designation for profiles made of unplasticized poly (vinyl chloride)
(PVC-U) intended to be used for building applications.
This part is applicable to light coloured and coloured PVC-U profiles, obtained by a mono-extrusion or a
co-extrusion process, with or without surface finishing (e.g. laminated foil, paint, printing process).
It specifies test methods and test parameters.
