Ceramic tiles - Part 9: Determination of resistance to thermal shock (ISO 10545-9:1994)

Defines a test method for determining the resistance to thermal shock of all ceramic tiles under normal conditions of use. Depending on the water absorption of the tiles, different procedures (tests with or without immersions) are used unless there is an agreement to the contrary.

Dieser Teil von ISO 10545 legt ein Prüfverfahren fest, mit dem die Temperaturwechselbeständigkeit von keramischen Fliesen und Platten unter üblichen Gebrauchsbedingungen bestimmt wird. Sofern nichts vereinbart wurde, werden in Abhängigkeit von der Wasseraufnahme der Fliesen und Platten unterschiedliche Verfahren (mit und ohne Eintauchen) angewendet.

La présente partie de l'ISO 10545 prescrit une méthode pour la détermination de la résistance aux chocs thermiques pour tous les carreaux céramiques dans les conditions normales d'utilisation. Selon l'absorption d'eau des carreaux, différents procédés sont utilisés (essais avec ou sans immersion), sauf accord contraire.
NOTE 1 L'ISO 13006:--, Carreaux et dalles céramiques -- Définitions, classification, caractéristiques et marquage (à publier), prescrit les exigences requises pour les propriétés des carreaux et dalles céramiques et fournit d'autres informations utiles sur ces produits.

Foreword
IS0 (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide
federation of national standards bodies (IS0 member bodies). The work
of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through IS0
technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for
which a technical committee has been established has the right to be
represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental
and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. IS0
collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission
(IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization.
Draft International Standards adopted by the technical committees are
