This standard specifies functional requirements for five types of trampolines (see Clause 3) and specific safety requirements (see Clause 4) in addition to the general safety requirements in EN 913, which shall be read in conjunction with this standard.
This standard is applicable to five types of trampolines intended for use under supervision as identified in Table 1.
It does not apply to tumble tracks (fast tracks), trampolines and mini-trampolines intended for home use, safety harnesses or other accessories.

Diese Europäische Norm legt funktionelle Anforderungen für 5 Typen von Trampolinen (siehe Abschnitt 3)
und besondere sicherheitstechnische Anforderungen (siehe Abschnitt 4) zusätzlich zu den allgemeinen
sicherheitstechnischen Anforderungen nach EN 913 fest.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt für 5 Typen von Trampolinen für die Benutzung unter kompetenter Aufsicht, wie
in Tabelle 1 dargelegt.
Sie gilt nicht für Trampolin-Bahnen für das Tumbling-Turnen, Trampoline und Minitrampoline im Heimbereich,
Sicherheitsgurte oder andere Zubehörteile.

La présente Norme européenne fixe des exigences fonctionnelles de cinq types de trampolines (voir Article 3) et des exigences spécifiques de sécurité (voir Article 4) en plus des exigences générales de sécurité de l'EN 913.
La présente Norme européenne s'applique à cinq types de trampolines destinés à être utilisés sous la surveillance qualifiée d'une personne compétente, comme indiqué dans le Tableau 1.
Elle ne s'applique ni aux pistes d'acrobatie (pistes rapides), ni aux trampolines et mini-trampolines destinés à être utilisés à domicile, ni aux harnais de sécurité ou autres accessoires.

EN 13219:2008 (E) 3 Foreword This document (EN 13219:2008) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 136 “Sports, playground and other recreational facilities and equipment”, the secretariat of which is held by DIN. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by May 2009, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by May 2009. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights. This document supersedes EN 13219:2001. This European Standard is one of several standards, each of which deals with a particular type or a particular group of gymnastic equipment. This European Standard is intended to be read in conjunction with EN 913. The equipment should only be used under the supervision of a competent person. The principal changes from the previous edition of EN 13219 are as follows: a) the dimensions and tables have been adapted; b) safety requirements and test methods have been completed;
c) instructions for use and marking have been modified; d) clause on warning label has been deleted;
e) Figures have been changed. EN 13219:2008 (E) 4 1 Scope This European Standard specifies functional requirements for five types of trampolines (see Clause 3) and specific safety requirements (see Clause 4) in addition to the general safety requirements of EN 913. This European Standard is applicable to five types of trampolines intended for use under qualified supervision of a competent person as identified in Table 1.
