Le présent document spécifie les caractéristiques des embouts réglables à roulement à rotule sur deux rangées de billes et tige filetée en acier.
Ils sont constitués :
- d'un corps d'embout comprenant :
- soit des joints d'étanchéité, soit des flasques de protection ;
- éventuellement une gorge longitudinale de verrouillage ;
- d'une bague intérieure sur billes.
Ces embouts sont destinés aux bielles pour commandes de vol ou aux bielles de structures aérospatiales.
