Soil improvers and growing media - Determination of Aerobic biological activity - Part 2: Self heating test for compost

This European Standard describes a method to determine the aerobic biological activity using a self-heating test. This method is only applicable to composted material.
NOTE   The method is not applicable for uncomposted products from anaerobic digestion.

Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der aeroben biologischen Aktivität mit einem Selbsterhitzungstest. Dieses Verfahren ist nur für kompostiertes Material geeignet.
ANMERKUNG   Das Verfahren ist nicht für unkompostierte Produkte vom anaeroben biologischen Abbau (Vergärung) geeignet.

La présente Norme européenne décrit une méthode permettant de déterminer l’activité biologique aérobie au moyen d’un test d’auto-échauffement. Cette méthode n’est applicable qu’aux matériaux compostés.
NOTE   La méthode ne s’applique pas aux produits non compostés issus d’une digestion anaérobie.
