Short Range Devices (SRD) - Radio equipment to be used in the 1 GHz to 40 GHz frequency range - Harmonised Standard for access to radio spectrum
The present document specifies technical characteristics and methods of measurements for the following equipment
types:
1) Non specific Short Range Devices, including alarms, telecommand, telemetry, data transmission in general,
etc.
2) Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) devices.
3) Radiodetermination devices including detection, movement and alert applications.
These radio equipment types are capable of operating in the permitted frequency bands within the 1 GHz to 40 GHz
range as specified in table 1:
1) with either a Radio Frequency (RF) output connection and dedicated antenna or an integral antenna;
2) for all types of modulation;
3) with or without speech.
Table 1 shows a list of the frequency bands as designated by the European Commission Decisions on Short Range
Devices [i.5] and the CEPT/ERC Recommendation 70-03 [i.2] as known at the date of publication of the present
document.

Ta dokument določa tehnične lastnosti in merilne metode za naslednje vrste opreme:
1) nespecifične naprave kratkega dosega, vključno z alarmi, napravami za daljinsko vodenje, telemetrijo, prenosom podatkov v splošnem itd.;
2) naprave za radiofrekvenčno identifikacijo (RFID);
3) radiofrekvenčne naprave za zaznavanje, gibanje in opozarjanje.
Te vrste radijske opreme lahko delujejo v dovoljenih frekvenčnih pasovih v območju od 1 GHz do 40 GHz, kot je opredeljeno v preglednici 1:
1) z radiofrekvenčno (RF) izhodno povezavo in namensko anteno ali z vgrajeno anteno;
2) za vse vrste modulacije;
3) z govorom ali brez.
V preglednici 1 je prikazan seznam frekvenčnih pasov v skladu z odločbami Evropske komisije o napravah kratkega dosega [i.5] in priporočilom CEPT/ERC 70-03 [i.2], znanimi na datum objave tega dokumenta.

Standard SIST EN 300 440 V2.2.1 (sl), Naprave kratkega dosega (SRD) – Radijska oprema, ki se
uporablja v frekvenčnem območju od 1 GHz do 40 GHz – Harmonizirani standard za dostop do
radijskega spektra, 2018, ima status slovenskega standarda in je istoveten evropskemu standardu ETSI
EN 300 440 V2.2.1 (en), Short Range Devices (SRD) – Radio equipment to be used in the 1 GHz to
40 GHz frequency range – Harmonised Standard for access to radio spectrum, 2018.
Ta standard nadomešča SIST EN 300 440 V2.1.1:2017.
NACIONALNI PREDGOVOR
Evropski standard ETSI EN 300 440 V2.2.1:2018 je pripravil tehnični odbor ERM TG28 - ERM Generic
SRD's. Slovenski standard SIST EN 300 440 V2.2.1:2018 je prevod evropskega standarda ETSI EN
300 440 V2.2.1:2018. V primeru spora glede besedila slovenskega prevoda v tem standardu je odločilen
izvirni evropski standard v angleškem jeziku. Slovensko izdajo standarda je potrdil tehnični odbor
SIST/TC MOC Mobilne komunikacije.
Odločitev za privzem tega standarda je v oktobru 2018 sprejel tehnični odbor SIST/TC MOC Mobilne
komunikacije.
