ISO 8029:2014 specifies the requirements for four types of textile-reinforced thermoplastics collapsible water hoses for general applications for use in the temperature range of −10 °C to 55 °C. Such hoses are classified into four types, as follows:
low pressure, designed for a maximum working pressure of up to 0,4 MPa (4,0 bar) at 23 °C and up to 0,2 MPa (2,0 bar) at 55 °C;
medium pressure, for a maximum working pressure of up to 0,7 MPa (7,0 bar) at 23 °C and up to 0,36 MPa (3,6 bar) at 55 °C;
high pressure, for a maximum working pressure of up to 1,0 MPa (10,0 bar) at 23 °C and up to 0,51 MPa (5,1 bar) at 55 °C;
extra-high pressure, for a maximum working pressure of up to 1,55 MPa (15,5 bar) at 23 °C and up to 0,79 MPa (7,9 bar) at 55 °C.

Diese Internationale Norm legt die Anforderungen für vier Klassen von textilverstärkten, thermoplastischen
faltbaren Wasserschläuchen für allgemeine Anwendungen in einem Temperaturbereich von 10 °C bis 55 °C
fest.
Solche Schläuche werden wie folgt eingeordnet in vier Klassen:
⎯ Niederdruck, ausgelegt für einen maximalen Betriebsdruck bis zu 0,4 MPa (4,0 bar) bei 23 °C und bis zu
0,2 MPa (2,0 bar) bei 55 °C;
⎯ Mitteldruck, für einen maximalen Betriebsdruck bis zu 0,7 MPa (7,0 bar) bei 23 °C und bis zu 0,36 MPa
(3,6 bar) bei 55 °C;
⎯ Hochdruck, für einen maximalen Betriebsdruck bis zu 1,0 MPa (10,0 bar) bei 23 °C und bis zu 0,51 MPa
(5,1 bar) bei 55 °C;
⎯ Extra-Hochdruck, für einen maximalen Betriebsdruck bis zu 1,55 MPa (15,5 bar) bei 23 °C und bis zu
0,79 MPa (7,9 bar) bei 55 °C.
Diese Norm gilt nicht für Produkte zur Verwendung bei der Brandbekämpfung oder den Transport von
Trinkwasser.

L'ISO 8029:2014 spécifie les exigences pour quatre types de tuyaux d'eau écrasables thermoplastiques renforcés textiles destinés à des applications générales pour utilisation à des températures comprises entre -10 °C et 55 °C. Ces tuyaux sont classés selon les quatre types suivants:
basse pression, conçus pour une pression maximale de service jusqu'à 0,4 MPa (4,0 bar) à 23 °C et jusqu'à 0,2 MPa (2,0 bar) à 55 °C;

Standard EN ISO 8029 določa zahteve za štiri vrste s tekstilom ojačenih zložljivih vodnih cevi za splošno uporabo pri temperaturi od −10 °C do 55 °C. Takšne cevi so razvrščene v naslednje štiri tipe: – nizkotlačne, zasnovane za najvišji delovni tlak do 0,4 MPa (4,0 bar) pri 23 °C in do 0,2 MPa (2,0 bar) pri 55 °C; – srednjetlačne, za najvišji delovni tlak do 0,7 MPa (7,0 bar) pri 23 °C in do 0,36 MPa (3,6 bar) pri 55 °C; – visokotlačne za najvišji delovni tlak do 1,0 MPa (10,0 bar) pri 23 °C in do 0,51 MPa (5,1 bar) pri 55 °C; – najvišjetlačne za najvišji delovni tlak do 1,55 MPa (15,5 bar) pri 23 °C in do 0,79 MPa (7,9 bar) pri 55 °C. Ta mednarodni standard ne velja za izdelke, ki se uporabljajo za gašenje požarov ali prenos pitne vode.

This document (EN ISO 8029:2014) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 45 “Rubber and
rubber products” in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 218 “Rubber and plastics hoses and
hose assemblies” the secretariat of which is held by BSI.

This third edition cancels and replaces the second edition (ISO 8029:2007), which has been technically
revised. Fifteen sizes of inside diameter were added in order to conform to the couplings and end fittings
available in the market (see Table 1).

Introduction
This International Standard has been prepared to provide minimum requirements for the satisfactory
performance of textile-reinforced thermoplastic collapsible water hose, for discharge applications,
conveying water, aqueous sludge or slurries.
In view of such applications, requirements and the corresponding tests have been specified for exposure
to laboratory light sources (see 8.2.5) and for abrasion resistance (see 8.2.6).
