Plastics hose - General-purpose collapsible water hose, textile-reinforced - Specification (ISO 8029:2014)

ISO 8029:2014 specifies the requirements for four types of textile-reinforced thermoplastics collapsible water hoses for general applications for use in the temperature range of −10 °C to 55 °C. Such hoses are classified into four types, as follows:
low pressure, designed for a maximum working pressure of up to 0,4 MPa (4,0 bar) at 23 °C and up to 0,2 MPa (2,0 bar) at 55 °C;
medium pressure, for a maximum working pressure of up to 0,7 MPa (7,0 bar) at 23 °C and up to 0,36 MPa (3,6 bar) at 55 °C;
high pressure, for a maximum working pressure of up to 1,0 MPa (10,0 bar) at 23 °C and up to 0,51 MPa (5,1 bar) at 55 °C;
extra-high pressure, for a maximum working pressure of up to 1,55 MPa (15,5 bar) at 23 °C and up to 0,79 MPa (7,9 bar) at 55 °C.

Diese Internationale Norm legt die Anforderungen für vier Klassen von textilverstärkten, thermoplastischen
faltbaren Wasserschläuchen für allgemeine Anwendungen in einem Temperaturbereich von 10 °C bis 55 °C
fest.
Solche Schläuche werden wie folgt eingeordnet in vier Klassen:
⎯ Niederdruck, ausgelegt für einen maximalen Betriebsdruck bis zu 0,4 MPa (4,0 bar) bei 23 °C und bis zu
0,2 MPa (2,0 bar) bei 55 °C;
⎯ Mitteldruck, für einen maximalen Betriebsdruck bis zu 0,7 MPa (7,0 bar) bei 23 °C und bis zu 0,36 MPa
(3,6 bar) bei 55 °C;
⎯ Hochdruck, für einen maximalen Betriebsdruck bis zu 1,0 MPa (10,0 bar) bei 23 °C und bis zu 0,51 MPa
(5,1 bar) bei 55 °C;
⎯ Extra-Hochdruck, für einen maximalen Betriebsdruck bis zu 1,55 MPa (15,5 bar) bei 23 °C und bis zu
0,79 MPa (7,9 bar) bei 55 °C.
Diese Norm gilt nicht für Produkte zur Verwendung bei der Brandbekämpfung oder den Transport von
Trinkwasser.

Tuyaux plastiques - Tuyaux d'eau écrasables d'usage général renforcés textiles - Spécifications (ISO 8029:2014)

L'ISO 8029:2014 spécifie les exigences pour quatre types de tuyaux d'eau écrasables thermoplastiques renforcés textiles destinés à des applications générales pour utilisation à des températures comprises entre -10 °C et 55 °C. Ces tuyaux sont classés selon les quatre types suivants:
basse pression, conçus pour une pression maximale de service jusqu'à 0,4 MPa (4,0 bar) à 23 °C et jusqu'à 0,2 MPa (2,0 bar) à 55 °C;
moyenne pression, pour une pression maximale de service jusqu'à 0,7 MPa (7,0 bar) à 23 °C et jusqu'à 0,36 MPa (3,6 bar) à 55 °C;
haute pression, pour une pression maximale de service jusqu'à 1,0 MPa (10,0 bar) à 23 °C et de 0,51 MPa (5,1 bar) à 55 °C;
très haute pression, pour une pression maximale de service jusqu'à 1,55 MPa (15,5 bar) à 23 °C et jusqu'à 0,79 MPa (7,9 bar) à 55 °C.

Standard EN ISO 8029 določa zahteve za štiri vrste s tekstilom ojačenih zložljivih vodnih cevi za splošno uporabo pri temperaturi od −10 °C do 55 °C. Takšne cevi so razvrščene v naslednje štiri tipe: – nizkotlačne, zasnovane za najvišji delovni tlak do 0,4 MPa (4,0 bar) pri 23 °C in do 0,2 MPa (2,0 bar) pri 55 °C; – srednjetlačne, za najvišji delovni tlak do 0,7 MPa (7,0 bar) pri 23 °C in do 0,36 MPa (3,6 bar) pri 55 °C; – visokotlačne za najvišji delovni tlak do 1,0 MPa (10,0 bar) pri 23 °C in do 0,51 MPa (5,1 bar) pri 55 °C; – najvišjetlačne za najvišji delovni tlak do 1,55 MPa (15,5 bar) pri 23 °C in do 0,79 MPa (7,9 bar) pri 55 °C. This document (EN ISO 8029:2014) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 45 “Rubber and
rubber products” in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 218 “Rubber and plastics hoses and
hose assemblies” the secretariat of which is held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by February 2015, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn
at the latest by February 2015.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent

Hoses can be constructed from rubber or thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) and this document specifies the requirements for three types of hoses in two grades and two classes of hose assemblies for measured fuel dispensing systems, including oxygenated fuels (≤15 % oxygenated compounds) with internal vapour recovery tubing or hose made out of rubber or thermoplastic elastomer (TPE).
The assemblies are intended for use at ambient temperatures between -30 °C and +55 °C for normal temperature class and -40 °C and +55 °C for low temperature class at a working pressure ≤ 16 bar.
This document is not applicable to multi chamber fuel dispensing hoses.
NOTE As part of the certification of a new dispenser, testing of fuel samples in accordance with EN 228 is carried out at least eight weeks after the first use of the equipment to avoid unrepresentative sulphur content results.

This document specifies two methods for measuring the stiffness and one method for the determination of the flexibility of rubber and plastics hoses and tubing when they are bent to a specific radius at sub-ambient temperatures.
Method A is suitable for non-collapsible rubber and plastics hoses and tubing with a bore of up to and including 25 mm. This method provides a means of measuring the stiffness of the hose or tubing when the temperature is reduced from a standard laboratory temperature.
Method B is suitable for rubber and plastics hoses and tubing with a bore of up to 100 mm and provides a means of assessing the flexibility of the hose or tubing when bent around a mandrel at a specified sub-ambient temperature. It can also be used as a routine quality control test.
Method C is suitable for rubber and plastics hoses and tubing with a bore of 100 mm and greater. This method provides a means of measuring the stiffness of the hose and tubing at sub-ambient temperatures. This method is only suitable for hoses and tubing which are non-collapsible.
