Protective clothing - Protection against heat and flame - Test method: Determination of the contact heat transmission through protective clothing or its materials

This European Standard specifies a test method for the determination of the contact heat transmission. It is applicable to protective clothing (including hand protectors) or its constituent materials intended to protect against high contact temperatures. The application of the standard is restricted to contact temperatures from 100 oC to 500 oC.

Diese Norm legt ein Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung des Wärmedurchganges fest. Sie ist auf Schutzkleidungen (einschließlich Handschützer) oder deren Materialien anwendbar, die für den Schutz gegen hohe Kontakttemperaturen gedacht sind. Die Anwendung ist auf Kontakttemperaturen von 100°C bis 500 °C beschränkt.

Cette norme européenne prescrit une méthode d'essai pour déterminer la transmission thermique par contact. Elle concerne les vetements de protection (y compris les protege-mains) ou leurs matériaux constitutifs devant protéger l'utilisateur contre les températures de contact élevées. L'application de cettenorme est limitée cependant a des températures de contact entre 100°C et 500°C.
