Non-destructive testing - Penetrant testing - Part 3: reference test blocks (ISO 3452-3:2013)
This International Standard describes two types of reference blocks:
— Type 1 reference blocks are used to determine the sensitivity levels of both fluorescent and colour contrast penetrant product families;
— Type 2 reference blocks are used for routine assessment of the performance of both fluorescent and colour contrast penetrant testing. The reference blocks are to be used in accordance with part 1 of this International Standard.

Diese Internationale Norm legt zwei Arten von Kontrollkörpern fest:
- Kontrollkörper 1 werden verwendet, um die Empfindlichkeitsstufen von fluoreszierenden und farbigen
Eindringsystemen festzulegen;
- Kontrollkörper 2 werden verwendet, um die routinemäßige Beurteilung der fluoreszierenden und farbigen
Eindringmittel in Anlagen und teilgebrauchten Behältern durchzuführen.
Die Kontrollkörper sind nach Teil 1 dieser Internationalen Norm anzuwenden.

L'ISO 3452-3:2013 décrit deux types de pièces de référence:
les pièces de référence de Type 1 sont utilisées pour déterminer les niveaux de sensibilité des familles de produits de ressuage fluorescents et colorés;
les pièces de référence de Type 2 sont utilisées pour l'évaluation périodique de la performance des installations de ressuage fluorescent et coloré et des récipients en partie utilisés.
Les pièces de référence doivent être utilisées conformément à l'ISO 3452-1:2013.

Ta mednarodni standard opisuje dva tipa primerjalnih vzorcev:
— Primerjalni vzorci tipa 1 se uporabljajo za določevanje nivoja občutljivosti tako fluorescenčnih skupin penetrantov kot skupin penetrantov kontrastnih barv;
— Primerjalni vzorci tipa 2 se uporabljajo za običajno ocenjevanje delovanja tako fluorescenčnih skupin penetrantov kot skupin penetrantov kontrastnih barv; Primerjalni vzorci se morajo uporabljati v skladu s 1. delom tega mednarodnega standarda.

This document (EN ISO 3452-3:2013) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 138 “Non-
destructive testing", the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR, in collaboration with Technical Committee
ISO/TC 135 "Non-destructive testing".
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by May 2014, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the
latest by May 2014.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN ISO 3452-3:1998.
