This document specifies a method for extraction and determination of the elemental sulfur contained in fertilizers. The method is applicable to EC fertilizers for which a declaration of the total sulfur in elemental form is provided for in Regulation (EC) Nr 2003/2003, Annex I.

Das vorliegende Dokument legt ein Verfahren zur Extraktion und Bestimmung des Schwefels fest, der in Düngemitteln in elementarer Form vorliegt.
Das Verfahren gilt für EG-Düngemittel, für die die Verordnung (EG) 2003/2003, Anhang I [1] die Angabe des in elementarer Form vorliegenden Gesamtschwefels vorschreibt.
Engrais - Extraction et dosage du soufre élémentaire
Le présent document spécifie une méthode d’extraction et de dosage du soufre élémentaire contenu dans les engrais.
Cette méthode s’applique aux engrais CE pour lesquels l’Annexe I du Règlement (CE) N° 2003/2003 [1]
prévoit la déclaration du soufre total sous forme élémentaire.
Gnojila - Ekstrakcija in določevanje elementarnega žvepla
Ta dokument opredeljuje metodo ekstrakcije in določevanja elementarnega žvepla, vsebovanega v gnojilih. Ta metoda se uporablja za gnojila ES, za katere je zagotovljena deklaracija o celotnem žveplu v elementarni obliki v Uredbi (ES) št. 2003/2003, Priloga I.

This Technical Specification (CEN/TS) was approved by CEN on 25 April 2010 for provisional application.
The period of validity of this CEN/TS is limited initially to three years. After two years the members of CEN will be requested to submit their
comments, particularly on the question whether the CEN/TS can be converted into a European Standard.
CEN members are required to announce the existence of this CEN/TS in the same way as for an EN and to make the CEN/TS available
promptly at national level in an appropriate form. It is permissible to keep conflicting national standards in force (in parallel to the CEN/TS)
until the final decision about the possible conversion of the CEN/TS into an EN is reached.
CEN members are the national standards bodies of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia,
Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland,
