Vitrified clay pipe systems for drains and sewers - Guidance for voluntary third-party certification procedures

This Technical Report gives guidance for the assessment of conformity of vitrified clay pipe systems for drains and sewers including pipes, fittings, manholes, perforated pipes, jacking pipes and associated products by the establishment of voluntary third-party certification procedures.
It is recommended that the quality management system conforms to or is no less stringent than the relevant requirements to EN ISO 9001.

Dieser Technische Bericht enthält einen Leitfaden für Verfahren zur freiwilligen Fremdüberwachung von Steinzeugrohrsystemen für Abwasserleitungen und –kanäle, die Rohre, Schächte, Formstücke, gelochte Rohre und Vortriebsrohre sowie andere zugehörige Bauteile umfassen.
Für das Qualitätsmanagementsystem des Herstellers wird empfohlen, dass dies entweder den einschlägigen Anforderungen von EN ISO 9001 oder mindestens gleichwertigen Anforderungen entspricht.

Le présent Rapport technique fournit des lignes directrices pour l'évaluation de la conformité des systèmes de tuyaux en grès vitrifié pour les collecteurs d'assainissement et les branchements, y compris les tuyaux, les raccords, les regards, les tuyaux perforés, les tuyaux destinés au fonçage et les produits associés, en spécifiant des procédures de certification volontaire par tierce partie.
Il est recommandé que le système de management de la qualité soit conforme aux exigences pertinentes de l’EN ISO 9001 ou au moins aussi strict que celles-ci.

CEN/TR 16626:2014 provides guidance for voluntary third‑party certification procedures for vitrified clay pipe systems used in drains and sewers. The Technical Report covers pipes, fittings, manholes, perforated pipes, jacking pipes and associated products and explains how a certification scheme can be used to assess conformity to the EN 295 series of product standards. The report recommends that the manufacturer's quality management system be no less stringent than EN ISO 9001.

1 Scope
