IEC 62623:2012 covers personal computing products. It applies to desktop and notebook computers as defined in 4.1 that are marketed as final products and that are hereafter referred to as the equipment under test (EUT) or product. This standard specifies: - a test procedure to enable the measurement of the power and/or energy consumption in each of the EUT's power modes; - formulas for calculating the typical energy consumption (TEC) for a given period (normally annual); - a majority profile that should be used with this standard which enables conversion of average power into energy within the TEC formulas; - a system of categorisation enabling like for like comparisons of energy consumption between EUTs and a pre-defined format for the presentation of results. This standard does not set any pass/fail criteria for the EUTs. Users of the test results should define such criteria. Keywords: Power consumption, Desktop computer, Notebook computer

IEC 60358-1:2012 applies to capacitors, with rated voltage >1 000 V, connected line to ground with the low voltage terminal either permanently earthed or connected to devices, for applications listed hereunder and other similar uses. This standard serves as basic standard for the coupling capacitor, the different parts of this standard will present the supplementary specifications and tests, for example IEC 60358-2, IEC 60358-3 or IEC 60358-4. This standard cancels and replaces the second edition of IEC 60358 (1990), and constitutes a technical revision. This edition of IEC 60358-1 includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the former edition of IEC 60358: - the standard has been split into different parts; Part 1 is the general rules and Parts 2, 3, 4 will be specific to the PLC, filters and dividers applications. - the routine and type test have been reviewed and are presented in Figure 2. Keywords: coupling capacitor, capacitor dividers

IEC 60567:2011 deals with the techniques for sampling free gases from gas-collecting relays from power transformers. Three methods of sampling free gases are described. The techniques described take account, on the one hand, of the problems peculiar to analyses associated with acceptance testing in the factory, where gas contents of oil are generally very low and, on the other hand, of the problems imposed by monitoring equipment in the field, where transport of samples may be by un-pressurized air freight and where considerable differences in ambient temperature may exist between the plant and the examining laboratory. Since the publication of the previous edition, CIGRE TF.D1.01.15 has made progress in several areas of dissolved gas analysis (DGA). These advances are included in this fourth edition.
