IEC 60626-1:2023 is available as IEC 60626-1:2023 RLV which contains the International Standard and its Redline version, showing all changes of the technical content compared to the previous edition.IEC 60626-1:2023 contains the definitions related to and the general requirements to be fulfilled by combined flexible materials for electrical insulation. This document does not include mica papers used as a primary component, which are covered by the IEC 60371 series, but insulation materials based on mica paper can be used as component of a combined flexible material. Materials which conform to this specification meet established levels of performance. However, the selection of material by a user for a specific application is based on the actual requirements necessary for adequate performance in that application and not based on this specification alone. This fourth edition cancels and replaces the third edition published in 2009. This edition constitutes a technical revision. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition:
a) the materials available for use within this series of standards have been updated;
b) a framework has been created to allow test methods beyond those used for quality control specifications to allow for testing for qualification purposes.

IEC 60819-3-4:2013 specifies requirements for two types of aramid fibre paper containing mica particles and designated as PAaM:
- type 1: calendered aramid paper containing mica particles;
- type 2: uncalendered aramid paper containing mica particles. Materials which conform to this specification meet established levels of performance. However, the selection of material by a user for a specific application should be based on the actual requirements necessary for adequate performance in that application and not based on this specification alone. IEC 60819-3-3:2011 is a sheet of IEC 60819-3 specifies requirements for four types of unfilled aramid papers:
- Type 1: calendered paper;
- Type 2: calendered paper, with improved tearing resistance and conformability;
- Type 3: uncalendered paper;
- Type 4: calendered paper, with lower density for laminating.
This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition:
- normative references change: all the requirements are now determined according the clauses of test methods from IEC 60819-2 specific for non cellulosic papers, instead of IEC 60554-2:2001 generally valid for cellulosic papers;
- and some new, very thin thicknesses, of type 4, calendered paper with lower density for laminating, were added.

IEC 60819-1:2009 gives the definitions and general requirements for non-cellulosic papers for electrical purposes. The main changes from the previous edition are as follows: the list of materials to be used in combination was updated with the addition of new materials made available by progress in technology and described in Subclauses 2.7 and 2.8.

IEC 60626-2:2009 provides the test methods for combined flexible materials for electrical insulation. Some properties and relevant test methods, according to the perfomance requirements of IEC 60626-3, were confirmed. Other test methods are described as a supplement of guidance for further specification that could be agreed between customer and supplier to meet specific needs of the end use. The main changes from the previous edition are as follows: some tests such as for edge tearing and stiffness, actually not used and not listed in the requirements of Part 3, were deleted.

IEC 60626-1:2009 contains the definitions related to and the general requirements to be fulfilled by combined flexible materials for electrical insulation. This standard does not include mica paper, as primary component, covered by IEC 60371, but mica paper may be used as complementary material. The main changes from the previous edition are that the Scope was revised specifying treatment of mica paper, and Table 1 was revised cancelling materials no longer in use and introducing newer materials.

IEC 60626-3:2008 gives dimensional and performance requirements for individual combined flexible materials for electrical insulation. This part is in the form of groups of sheets. This standard contains 31 sheets of Part 3, as follows: 100, 101, 102, 110, 111, 112, 113, 114, 115, 302, 303, 312, 313, 315, 320, 330, 340, 350, 351, 360, 400, 401, 402, 403, 410, 411, 420, 421, 502, 503, 505. The main change from the previous edition is the consolidation of amendment 1 published in 1999 which was mainly describing the sheets from 340 to 459.

Specifies requirements for two types of filled glass paper designated: P-FG type 1: high inorganic content paper with maximum organic content 15 %; P-FG type 2: medium inorganic content paper with maximum organic content 25 %.

Specifies requirements for a single type of hybrid inorganic-organic filled paper made from polyethylene-terephthalate fibres filled with silicates of aluminium and designated P-H.

Contains the test methods to be used in testing non-cellulosic papers for electrical purposes to meet the requirements prescribed in the specification sheets of IEC 60819-3.
