deletion of the thickness of 15,0 mm, the length, the mass and the dimension of rolls from the general requirements;
addition of the manufacturer's name, trademark (if any), nominal thickness, manufacture date, and lot number in the conditions of supply.

IEC 60454-2:2007 specifies methods of test for pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes for electrical purposes. This revision includes improved text regarding the flame test (Clause 20), the improved text on adhesion (Clause 11) and a new Figures 9a and 9b.

IEC 60454-3-4:2007 contains the requirements for pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes made with cellulose paper, creped and non-creped, with rubber thermosetting adhesive. Materials, which conform to this specification, meet established levels of performance. However, the selection of a material by a user for a specific application should be based on the actual requirements necessary for adequate performance in that application, and not based on this specification alone. This third edition of IEC 60454-3-4 replaces the second edition, published in 1998, as well as IEC 60454-3-5, published in 1998. It constitutes a technical revision. The main changes with regard to the second edition is the consolidation of this part with IEC 60454-3-5. All requirements were confirmed. IEC 60454-3-11:2007 contains the requirements for pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes, made with combined backings based on polyester film:
- PET film/glass filament combination tapes;
- Creped cellulosic paper/PET film combination tapes;
- PET film/polyester non-woven combination tapes;
- PET film/epoxy combination tapes.
This second edition of IEC 60454-3-11 replaces the first edition, published in 1998, as well as replacing IEC 60454-3-15 (2001), IEC 60454-3-16 (2003) and IEC 60454-3-17 (2001). It constitutes a technical revision. IEC 60454-3-15, IEC60454-3-16 and IEC 60454-3-17 are to be withdrawn at the time of this publication. The main changes with regard to the previous edition is the consolidation of Parts 3-11, 3-15, 3-16 and 3-17. Key words: pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes

IEC 60454-3-8: 2006 contains the requirements for: glass fabric tapes with pressure-sensitive adhesive, cellulose acetate woven fabric tapes with rubber thermosetting adhesive, combined cellulose-viscose woven fabric tapes, one side covered with a thermoplastic material, the other side with thermosetting adhesive. Materials which conform to this specification meet established levels of performance. However, the selection of a material by a user for a specific application should be based on the actual requirements necessary for adequate performance in that application, and not based on this specification alone. This bilingual version (2014-07) corresponds to the English version, published in 2006-02. This third edition of IEC 60454-3-8 replaces the second edition, published in 1998, IEC 60454-3-9, published in 1998 and IEC 60454-3-13, published in 1995. This edition replaces the previous second edition and includes its consolidation with the texts of IEC 60464-3-18 (2003). The limitations imposed by the method of forming and processing are discussed where relevant.
