SCOPE
1.1 This specification covers the requirements for 18chromium-12.5nickel-2.5molybdenum stainless steel alloy shot, bar, or ingot used for the manufacture of cast and solution-annealed surgical implants.
1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as the standard.
