1.1 This specification covers two types of metal ignition crucibles, nickel or platinum, complete with covers, for laboratory use.

SUPPLEMENTARY REQUIREMENTS
The following supplementary requirements are binding when this specification is used by the
Department of Defense and the Federal Government for the procurement of crucibles.
S1. Sampling Freight Classification.
