SCOPE
1.1 This specification covers refined phthalic anhydride-1308.
1.2 The following applies to all specified limits in this specification: for purposes of determining conformance with this specification, an observed value or a calculated value shall be rounded off "to the nearest unit" in the last right-hand digit used in expressing the specification limit, in accordance with the rounding-off method of Practice E 29.
1.3 Consult current OSHA regulations, supplier's Material Safety Data Sheets, and local regulations regarding all material used in this specification.
WITHDRAWN RATIONALE
Formerly under the jurisdiction of Committee D16 on Aromatic Hydrocarbons and Related Chemicals, this specification was withdrawn in June 2008. This standard is being withdrawn without replacement due to its limited use by industry.
