Paints and varnishes - Coating materials and coating systems for exterior wood - Part 4: Assessment of the water-vapour permeability

This part of EN 927 specifies a test method for assessing the water-vapour permeability of coating systems for exterior wood by measuring the absorption and desorption of water vapour by coated wood panels. Results are expressed as the mass, in grams, of water gained and lost during two 14 day periods under specified conditions.

Dieser Teil von EN 927 legt ein Prüfverfahren zum Bewerten der Wasserdampfdurchlässigkeit von Beschichtungs-systemen für Holz im Außenbereich durch Messen der Wasseraufnahme und -abgabe beschichteter Holzplatten fest. Die Ergebnisse werden als Masse Wasser in Gramm angegeben, die in zwei Zeitspannen von je 14 Tagen unter festgelegten Bedingungen aufgenommen und abgegeben wird.

La présente partie de l'EN 927 prescrit une méthode d'essai pour évaluer la perméabilité à la vapeur d'eau des systèmes de peinture pour bois en extérieur en mesurant l'absorption et la désorption de vapeur d'eau par des éprouvettes en bois peintes. Les résultats sont exprimés en masse, en grammes, d'eau accumulée et perdue pendant deux périodes de 14 jours dans des conditions prescrites.
